Built By Me is a local startup dedicated to using STEAM technologies to help children develop creativity, critical thinking, communication, and cooperation. They needed a website that not only looks awesome, but has custom functionalities that allow customers to book and pay for classes.
Our Collaboration
We love working with local businesses – their passion is infectious! Built By Me wanted their website to appeal to both children and adults, so we started with a simple and easy-to-navigate design and finished it with dynamic animations and lots of bright colors.
Built By Me also needed copywriting services, and we were more than happy to help with that too. Now, visitors can learn about the importance of STEAM education for children and easily register for family-friendly activities for their kids.
Both fun and professional
Their customers may be families with children, but their business is education – Built By Me still needed their website to look professional and illustrate how their team of experts is qualified to lead educational activities. Rather than try to fit all the content onto just a few pages, we developed a logical flow to direct users through multiple pages that each have a small, easy-to-digest amount of copy. Plus, there’s a blog where the team can post photos of events and share important new information.
Custom Integration
Built By Me hosts dozens of events each week, and they needed a way to manage enrollment, payments, marketing, and customer information. We integrated their existing POS system so customers can easily register and pay online using the same information the team has in the building. Keeping all of their operational information in one place means less time spent on administrative tasks, and more time spent making stuff!
