Slide USA provides cutting-edge communications products, so they needed a website that showed their commitment to innovation and product knowledge. Because they offer such a wide variety of products, it was critical to present them all in a clear and organized way that allows users to get all the information they need without having to click through too many pages.
How We Did It
We designed a clear system to categorize the products, and implemented a customized “hover” functionality so customers can see product details for each item without having to leave the main category page. And to avoid overwhelming users with all the technological details, we chose to integrate lifestyle images featuring real people interacting with the products.
Simple & Clean
We let the products do the talking – rather than including copy on the category pages, we used large photos of the products. Each product page uses icons to describe features, so it’s easy for users to compare models without reading blocks of text. Technical specs are easily found within a “More Information” accordion feature.
